About Nikkia
I am a 4th year medical student currently studying at UCT. I would describe myself as a dedicated, resilient individual. I am a consistent worker and loved biology from a young age. I really enjoy the content I learn, and my degree has given me the opportunity to apply this knowledge in the real world. I am keen to help others with the content as much as I can! In the past I have tutored before, and I have enjoyed my interaction with students. I am patient and willing to work at the pace my tutee prefers.
Some of my academic achievements include: Dean's Merit list (2023), Proxime Accessit in matric (2020), 7 distinctions NSC (2020).

- Online-lessons via platform of student's choice (Zoom, Google Meets, Teams, Whatsapp)
- Before each lesson I will request to have a look at the notes and resources which are used at your school, so I can base the lessons off these. This is to ensure students can directly apply what they've learnt from my lessons to their current curriculum.
- I prepare notes/powerpoints which I will send to students after each lesson.
- I aim to make information as simple as possible to help with memorisation. I also use techniques of connecting topics to one another, to help with memorisation further. I will happily share my study techniques I've used since school and throughout university.
- I am able to teach in English only. Lessons are aimed at high school and university students taking biology or other health science modules.
