About Rei

One of the key traits that sets me apart in the tutoring industry is my ability to empathise and teach effectively, adjusting to student pace of learning, so that you are left with a complete understanding of the topic. I don't let mistakes and weaknesses hinder our pace of learning. Rather, in the non-judgemental culture that I foster within my lessons, I see mistakes in a positive light, instead as a symbol of growth.

While others may argue that academic ability is largely dependent on natural upbringing and perhaps a "draw of luck", I strongly believe that hard-work and the maturity to still be curious and resilient after criticism and poor performances are more profound indicators of academic ability.

Tutoring students is a responsibility that I take seriously and will commit myself 100% to achieving our shared goals. With that said, I hope to model hard-work and dedication so that the student can too find their own version of success.

About the lesson

Economics requires a lot of work. From writing multiple essays to finding and including relevant statistics to inserting graphs and theorems. And you only have 40 minutes to adapt your essay to the set unseen question! Ridiculous!

This is where I come in.

In 2023, I achieved a NSW State-Rank equivalent mark of 97 in HSC Economics. Additionally, I ranked first in Normanhurst Boys High School for Economics in both Year 11 and 12. Respectfully, I know what it takes to succeed in HSC Economics and with my exhaustive resource bank and dedication, I'm sure you can too.
