About Eloi
I have a bachelor's degree in translation (mainly doing English to French but my Spanish is starting to be better again), I'm also finishing a project management master's this fall. I have founded my first company "Colibri" which is about the translation/language industry in Quebec-Canada. I see tutoring as an extension of my mission as a translator, it's just that instead of translating words I help people translate their identity from their language toward French. On a less formal side of me: I like animals, sports and classical literature.

My method is to provide teaching that is as close as possible to real-life situations. Learning a language should not be like learning mathematics. A typical lesson begins with a summary in French of what the student has done since the last session. If the student needs to work on a specific topic, we focus on that; otherwise, we strengthen their foundations and fill in any gaps. I am not a French tutor like the others—my goal is not just for you to learn French, but to truly make it your own. I teach students of all ages and all levels.
