About Aurelia
As someone who had to learn a second language with little to no help, I am really passionate about teaching. I strive to make learning fun and engaging and break away from the monotony in classwork. Helping others learn is incredibly rewarding to me, my teaching journey started as a teacher's aid to teach english to french students, which then graduated to doing 1-on-1 teaching sessions with english students to learn french.
I am based in Switzerland, so I have been speaking, and doing many of my classes in French for the last few years, but I come from a British background.

I like to prepare engaging and personalised lessons for students as I believe that the best kind of education is one that a student enjoys.
During lessons (from 30 minutes to 2 hours) I like to practice active speech and conversation (either tailored to a specific academic exam, or to students' need) as well as helping with any homework if necessary. I provide feedback after lessons to see how we can progress with the student. I can also provide additional worksheets if the student would like supplemental help outside of our lesson hours.
