I am an English and philosophy graduate with a passion for literature and creative writing. My strengths lie in creativity, critical analysis and essay writing. I am happy to assist at any level
Methodology
My goal as a tutor would be to teach English creatively and to add diversity to my teaching methods. It is also in the interest of the student to have a lesson plan tailor made to their individual needs which is something I am happy to assist with. Irrespective of one's current ability, I would include fun exercises in my lesson plans such as story workshopping, English language word games, and text analysis of the students favourite novel, poem, short story or film script.
Experience
I was awarded a H1 in my Leaving Certificate in English, and have completed my degree in English literature at university level. I have assisted with writing workshops at my university, and have a background in creative writing. Although I do not have a professional qualification in teaching, I believe I am equipped to assist each student on an individual level and find a lesson plan suited to their needs.
