To whom it may concern
My name is Yagh-Yaa Abrahams and I am applying at your esteemed place of education. I am a diligent, hardworking, reliable, and honest person. I am dedicated to achieving my desired goals that I project in life. I would like to see myself as a successful educator on my previous success as a teacher and facilitator.
I would like to combine this new goal with my years of teaching and work experience and with all the training skills I have acquired through the years. I am always eager to learn. I am confident that I will succeed whatever task I am obligated to undertake. I work very well as an individual and as a part of a team. My curriculum vitae is evident that I am a multi-task person that has the patience and endurance to tackle many tasks at once and with great success. My ability to exercise management skills by using tact and persuasion to get learners to conform to the code of conduct of the education institute has made me a valuable asset at all my previous and current work environments.
I have completed my degree in education (BED) which is due to arrive from the university of Cape Town (UNISA). My degree will be in my possession by the end of February 2021.
I am seeking a teaching position from the start of June 2021 as I am currently teaching online at a school on a short-term contract basis. .

About the lesson

My teaching method is using modern day teaching methods whereby learners are more involved in the lesson. Student centered learning.Just like its name suggests, this method of teaching English is grammar heavy and relies a lot on translation. This is the traditional or ‘classical’ way of learning a language and it’s still commonly used when learning some languages. Some countries prefer this style of teaching and the main idea behind this method is that the students learn all grammar rules, so they’re able to translate a number of sentences. This is particularly common for those students who wish to study literature at a deeper level.
