About Lessy
I studied German and English philology and methods of teaching at University. I am a holder of TKT Certificate (Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test) and DELE Certificate, level C2. I've worked as a translator and interpreter, but teaching has always been my major occupation. I've been mostly teaching Spanish and Russian in language schools in Barcelona and online for the past 10 years.

I'm a bilingual teacher (Spanish and Russian) living in Spain. I've been teaching languages for almost 20 years, and I absolutely adore my job. I offer Castilian Spanish classes online. My method is influenced by Paul Pimsleur's and Stephen Krashen's researches along with modern studies on neuroplasticity and its role in learning process. This means we will not be studying grammar separately, it will be mostly acquired through “natural” or “organic” learning where language environment is simulated through massive authentic input (80% listening, 20% reading). Listening and reading comprehension exercises will be accompanied by multiple repetitions of active speech patterns in different contexts in order to achieve “automatic reaction” effect. This means beginners start speaking from the very first class and intermediate/advanced learners drastically improve their speaking skills. Simply put, little theory, tons of practice, and lots of good vibes. As for DELE tests, I have a specially designed programme that covers all language skills as well as the exam format.
