About Bhairavv

I am an outgoing, approachable, and highly motivated tutor who enjoys working with students of all learning styles and personalities. I place strong importance on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and engaging fully with the material. I achieved 625 points in the Leaving Certificate and have received multiple academic awards, including 3rd place in the IMTA Math competition. I founded the Super Math Support sessions at my secondary school and have delivered talks on study skills and student well-being, experiences that have strengthened both my teaching and communication skills. I currently study Engineering at UCD. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is helping a student understand something they once found difficult, and then seeing them confidently apply that knowledge on their own. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students not only improve academically, but also develop confidence in their own abilities.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building a strong, intuitive connection with Maths, Applied Maths, Chemistry, and Physics for secondary school students up to Leaving Certificate (6th year) level. I believe real academic success comes from understanding the why behind concepts, not just memorising methods, and I guide students to visualise ideas and build lasting confidence in their learning.

I understand that everyone experiences rough patches with challenging topics or motivation. I work closely with students to identify their difficulties, overcome them, and turn weaknesses into their strengths!

Lessons typically last between 1 and 2 hours and are fully tailored to each student’s needs and pace. Alongside subject teaching, I also help students organise effective study plans, improve focus while studying, and create clear, well-structured notes to support long-term academic success.
