About Tessa
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language and Cultural Communication after developing a strong interest in international communication, language learning, and cultural exchange during my academic studies. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve their French through practical instruction and supportive teaching methods. Teaching French allows me to combine communication, creativity, and mentorship in a meaningful and rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners express themselves confidently in another language.
My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, patience, and communication-centered learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to conversation and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, personality, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening comprehension, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring world cinema, and continuing language research through travel and international media. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and practical examples into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, global connection, and personal growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students communicate naturally in situations that once felt difficult or unfamiliar.
