About Cannelle
Hey! I’m Cannelle, born in the North-West of France and now bilingual in French and English. A year ago, I decided to move to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, and it’s here that I truly found myself—surrounded by people from all over the world, speaking different languages and sharing different cultures. I’ve always loved school, especially anything related to languages: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation… Teaching has always been something I dreamed of doing. But instead of studying for years, I chose to travel, learn in the field, and immerse myself fully in English. And that experience is what made me bilingual today. Now, I want to use everything I’ve learned to teach—either French to English speakers or English to French speakers. I’m a naturally patient and pedagogical person, and I’d love to share my knowledge with anyone who wants to travel, discover new cultures, and learn the language of the country they’re exploring.

What better way to learn than by chatting with a native speaker? That’s exactly what I realized since being in Australia. My English level was okay before coming here, but after avoiding all the French speakers and talking in English every day, it improved so much.
Now, I want to become a better teacher. I’d love to chat about everything—from basic conversations to vocabulary explanations, grammar rules, and even pronunciation (which we all know isn’t the easiest!).
I’m easy-going, no pressure—just fun and fluid conversations. Learning a new language can be so simple!
