With over 8 years of experience teaching both in-person and online, I bring a well-rounded and personalised approach to guitar instruction. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance with a focus on Contemporary Styles, which grounds my teaching in both technical skill and creative exploration. My philosophy centres on helping students find their unique voice through compositional techniques, arranging, and original music creation. I guide students in understanding harmonic concepts, melodic invention, and even basic counterpoint all tailored to their musical interests. Whether you're just starting out or refining advanced skills, I adapt each lesson to your goals and learning style. I’ve worked with beginners, advanced players, and aspiring professional composers. My lessons often include demo recording techniques to help students document and shape their musical ideas. I believe learning guitar should be inspiring, not overwhelming. Whether you're a fingerstyle enthusiast or a late bloomer picking up guitar later in life, I tailor lessons to your strengths. You’ll learn how to rehearse with others, follow cues, and contribute confidently to live performances. I also guide you through live performance etiquette—how to prepare, communicate, and perform under pressure. My lessons are hands-on and scenario-based. We might break down a band setup or simulate a stage show. Each session builds your musical confidence and teamwork. I want every student to feel ready for the spotlight. Together, we’ll make your guitar skills stage-worthy.
