About Jake
Hello! I'm Jake, they/him and I am going to be your future tutor! I'm currently studying in highschool, and I'm going into AP English. I don't really have favorite books, but I'm a fan of short novels and excerpts of them. My favourite genre to read is fantastical romance, but I've lately found a liking to The Marrow Thieves.
Outside of school related hobbies, I like roleplaying online, which means I am constantly improving my vocabulary to better my expertise in that hobby. I enjoy playing competitive games, mainly on ROBLOX, and I love to draw original characters in my roleplays and personal stories.

As a tutor, I want to take the students lesson plan, and assist them with it in a way that is individual to them. Once I learn how to communicate with them, I'll move onto assisting them by beginning with pronunciation of syllables, then words, before we get into reading and putting that all into our final goal: writing fluently.
I have two siblings who are at these grade levels who I assist with homework and classwork often, and I really want to put myself out there so I can pursue tutoring as I later grow up. These lessons are typically for middle and elementary students.
