About Ben
I am an English Lit A-level student at the King's School, Grantham. I achieved top grades (two 9s) in both my English Lit and Lang GCSE's and I am more than keen to help anyone for their GCSE english exams too. I have yet to tutor but I thoroughly enjoy the subject and I want to pass on my techniques and knowledge to anyone that needs it. I am also able to help with reading and writing skills lower down the education chain. I personally have always achieved high grades and I know I would be able to help boost grades of others by aiding exam preparation and knowledge reinforcement.

I would try to take a student-led approach whereby they inform me what they believe are their strengths and their weaknesses and from this I can determine where focus should be. My lessons would be targeted at younger students who are struggling with the basics of english, whether that be reading and writing, or higher skills along the lines of thinking creatively, analysis and evaluation. The one-to-one approach allows me to figure best how the student can improve and how much support is needed to help them achieve what they want to achieve.
