About the lesson

- Where do you teach?

I will come to your home and teach if you are in Ayrshire, at the rates shown. If you are not in Ayrshire, we can arrange online classes for you at a reduced rate (£5 less for online lessons).

3. Install the whiteboard add-on to skype (email me for more details).
4. Get a good headset with a microphone.
5. If you want to do a face-to-face online, you will also need a good quality Skype-compatible webcam (check the Skype site for ideas).

Payment

Online students need to have a Paypal account or make arrangements to pay me by postal order, or post office moneygram. International students can pay by paypal, bank transfer or Western Union. Please email me for more details.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Do you need an extra brain?

Passing exams is not just about getting information from the book into your brain. It's about getting your ideas from your brain onto the page. With me, we will iron out the knowledge and understanding problems, but we will focus a lot on getting you through that all important exam, or completing that crucial assignment. I'll focus on how you learn best and how to turn your learning style to grade-gaining advantage. You might find that many of the skills you learn with me can be transferred easily to other subjects.

For people struggling with literacy at any age, maybe I can help. Spend thirty minutes, three times a week, for three months, online with me, and read the difference.
