About Gayathri

I have a passion for art and enjoy expressing creativity through drawing and digital art. As a qualified educator with a Master’s in Education, I understand that every student learns differently and deserves a supportive learning environment.

I am patient, understanding, and a good listener. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing their artistic skills at their own pace. As a self-taught artist, I understand the challenges that come with learning art independently and enjoy helping others discover their own creative potential.

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to improve your skills, I aim to make learning enjoyable, encouraging, and rewarding.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology

My teaching approach is based on observation, practice, and developing confidence through consistent drawing. I believe that anyone can improve their artistic skills by learning how to truly see and understand what they are drawing.

Lessons begin with the fundamentals, including shapes, lines, proportion, perspective, light, and shadow. Students will learn through guided exercises, reference images, and drawing from everyday objects. As skills develop, I encourage students to experiment and create artwork in their own unique style. I currently focus on digital art and can share techniques and workflows that I use in my own creative practice.

Typical Length of a Lesson

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing enough time for demonstrations, practice, feedback, and discussion.

Qualifications and Experience

I am a self-taught artist with a passion for drawing and digital art. Through years of independent learning and creative practice, I have developed a strong understanding of artistic fundamentals and the drawing process. My goal is to make art approachable, enjoyable, and achievable for beginners and hobby artists.

My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their drawing skills and artistic confidence. I welcome children, teenagers, and adults who are interested in learning the fundamentals of art, developing their creativity, or exploring digital art techniques.
