About Aarav
My passion for Mathematics began with a fascination for logical patterns, problem-solving, and abstract thinking. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Mathematics, deepening both theoretical understanding and applied skills. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students from elementary school math to SAT math and introductory Calculus, helping them develop conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and academic confidence. My teaching emphasizes making complex topics accessible, fostering curiosity, and building independent problem-solving skills. I focus on understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring lessons accordingly. Through visualizations, step-by-step instruction, real-world examples, and practice exercises, I make topics like geometry, algebra, and Calculus engaging and understandable. I encourage active questioning, experimentation, and iterative learning to create a supportive environment that motivates students. Outside the classroom, I remain actively involved in mathematics through research, problem-solving, and curriculum development. This allows me to integrate contemporary techniques and practical applications into lessons. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because I witness students evolve from uncertainty to mastery, developing analytical reasoning, resilience, and independent thinking that extend beyond academics.

Mathematics becomes approachable when learners understand concepts rather than memorizing formulas. My lessons cover elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus, focusing on logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving. Students learn to recognize patterns, apply systematic approaches, and solve problems confidently. Each lesson incorporates step-by-step guidance, interactive exercises, and reflective discussion to encourage independent thinking and conceptual mastery.
Lesson design is adapted to the student’s level. Elementary learners strengthen number sense, arithmetic, and basic problem-solving. Middle-level learners focus on algebra, geometry, and proportional reasoning typical of middle school math. Advanced learners explore algebra, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus, emphasizing methodical problem-solving, accuracy, and analytical reasoning. Guided practice and feedback ensure comprehension and long-term growth.
Mathematics lessons also cultivate patience, focus, and logical discipline. As students gain confidence, they apply reasoning skills across subjects and real-life contexts.
