About Mateus
My name is Mateus, I am a 24 year old guitarist/producer/singer/songwriter, I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to Ireland in 2019.
I study music production at Windmill lane, I'm about to start year 2.
I have experience performing live and as a studio musician.
I play a wide range of styles, from folk-blues to bossa nova and samba, jazz, rock, country, to name some.
I also have a deep understanding of music theory.

In class you will learn about music theory (intervals, chord formation, scales, modes, etc.), guitar rhythms, the history of the guitar and its use on modern and classical music, different guitar tunings, picking and fingering techniques, ear training and more.
Lessons will be 50 minutes long.
