About Giulia

I am a friendly and motivated tutor who loves helping students realise their potential. Teaching is my passion because I enjoy seeing the moment when a tricky topic finally makes sense. Having benefitted from amazing teachers and tutors myself to achieve excellent results in all my exams, I am excited to take on a role of responsibility to help students fulfil their academic goals. I create lessons that are clear, supportive, and enjoyable, helping every learner gain confidence and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I teach English with a personalised and interactive approach, blending grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. A typical lesson lasts one hour and is adapted to the student’s goals, whether that’s exam preparation, improving fluency, or learning for travel and cultural interest. As a native speaker with top grades in all my language subjects — including GCSE and A-Level Italian (A*), GCSE French (Grade 9), and GCSE Spanish (Grade 9) — I bring both academic excellence and a love of languages to my teaching. I have successfully tutored students in English and Latin within my school, creating and delivering my own lesson plans. I was specially commended by my teacher for my sense of humour and ability to maintain a positive, productive atmosphere, even when a student was struggling. My proudest achievement was helping a Year 11 pupil in Maths (taught alongside Latin) improve from a predicted Grade 2 to a Grade 5 at GCSE. My lessons are ideal for learners aged 11–18, from beginners to advanced, who want structured guidance, cultural insight, and the confidence to use the language in real life.
