About Andy
I'm a CELTA-qualified English literature graduate, currently living in South London. I've been teaching online for the last three years, during which time I've taught over fifty students. I've helped a wide range of ages and nationalities reach their EFL goals.

I design my lessons alongside my students, with their motivations and personality in mind. I'm completely flexible when it comes to lesson plans, so if a student has a personal interest in sports, politics, cinema, literature, etc., I will incorporate this into lessons as much as possible.
Likewise, each student will have different strengths and weaknesses. I like to have an informal first conversation (free of charge) in which we get to know each other a little bit and discuss the best way to go forward. After our first chat, an example of your written work, and a short placement test, I'll have a better idea of your level and where you could improve. You might have a concrete goal in mind - IELTS or CAE qualification, for example - or you might just want to improve your general conversation through work on phrasal verbs and idioms. These are only examples, of course. Every student is unique, and I ensure that each student's lesson plan is accordingly unique!
