About Persiada

About the lesson

A bit about me: I have 2 degrees from 2 world-leading London universities. My first is a degree in Human Geography from King's College London and my second is my Master's degree from London School of Economics in European Politics. I am studying towards my third master's in Psychology (conversion). As you can see I have quite a bit of experience and knowledge about doing research and dissertations that I would love to impart onto you! My approach to learning is target-driven while also remaining holistic and in a way I try to coach my students. I want you to gain an understanding of why you are doing what you are doing and my mission is to equip you with the tools and understanding to do things independently and not need me. I start things off with getting to know what you need help with and I tailor our lessons to you specifically as an individual and what your academic goals are. I propose a plan based on our first session together and share this with you before the first lesson. I welcome feedback or adjustments as your academic needs matter the most and we decide how to spend our sessions in the way that is most beneficial to you. If you need me to read something before our session or want to ask a question that you forgot to ask, I am not strict about it and I will be contactable to you as long as you are my student. I want you to feel supported and not restricted to just our sessions for little things you may need to ask (of course within sensible limits). The typical length of the lesson depends on my assessment and of course your assessment on how much time you think you need. We can re-evaluate this at any given point to suit you. I welcome feedback and have helped many students with their dissertations so I encourage you to always feed back how you think we are progressing and what you think I can do to support you more.
