About Christopher

I have a deep passion for all things music, and a Bachelor of Music (Honours First Class) and a PhD.

I particularly enjoy teaching dedicated Trumpet students, whether they are beginners or more advanced. All ages are welcome.

I love to read (addicted to audiobooks), and learn new things whenever I can.

About the lesson

My teaching approach always considers the specific needs and experience of the student. If you're learning trumpet, you will get a structured plan every lesson to develop your technique, and as much musical guidance as you need.

Trumpet instruction is progressive, structured and all inclusive. My specialty is adult learners, but I teach to all ages. Want to play soft and pretty? You got it. Loud, fast and sizzling? No problem. Why not have both!

Deadly! Chris was very great at communicating both organising the lesson and teaching the instrument, he even shared a few videos of the basics before hand. Super happy with the experience and look forward to learning more of the Trumpet!

Deadly! As a student studying music theory at University, I really needed some guidance with tricky concepts which were brushed over in classes. Christopher went above and beyond my expectations to help me through these concepts. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me, which really helped me reach my full potential. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their understanding of music theory!
