About Amelia
I am French and I hold a degree that I completed in France called: Licence LLCE Anglais. It is the study of English literature, linguistics and history. I completed the third year of this degree in Leeds, Yorkshire. After that, I worked as a French assistant in a sixth form college in Huddersfield.
Afterwards, I started a master's degree in France in the teaching of foreign languages. There, I taught French to middle and high school students. I am currently a full-time PGCE intern at a school based in Portsmouth.
I also have significant experience in tutoring and teaching English and Spanish.
I have a bachelor's degree in French literature and visual arts. Outside my life as a teacher I work in photography and videography. I am passionate about art in general and this helps me to teach active, interesting and creative lessons.
I also have a diploma called "BAFA" which guarantees me a significant experience as a summer camp manager. That is, I know a wide range of activities and games and how to put them into practice with teenagers or adults.

I'am a teacher based on happiness. I want my students to be happy and motivated to learn so I use an active methodology. I love inspiring myself from Montessori, Freinet and other teaching passionate people. I structure my lessons with what each individual needs in order to lead my students towards improvement. I teach according to each student profile. I talk to them to know how they need to learn.
