Mathematics is my primary subject.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc Hon Mathematics - University College London; Msc Computer Science - University College London. I also have a number of professional qualifications relevant to my past career as a Financial and IT Consultant in the City: FIBC – Fellow of the Institute of Business Consultants; CMC – Certified Management Consultant; MBCS – Member, The British Computer Society; CITP – Certified IT Practitioner.
- How much do you charge?
My standard rate is £35 per hour at A Level . My students usually visit me. Professional qualification support (business and scientific/engineering exams) is also charged at £35ph. GCSE Maths is £30ph.
- Where do you teach?
Students usually visit me as it generally suits their day better.
- When are you available?
I tutor at any time between 10am and 3pm on weekdays throughout the year. Quite often I will also work at weekends and will accommodate a student's needs as much as possible when it comes to exam deadlines etc. Some evenings are also possible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All levels of Mathematics from age 14 through to A Level and adult professional qualification support (includes distant learning support).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE Mathematics, A Level Mathematics (C1, C2, C3, C4, D1, S1, M1, M2, FP1, FP2) IB Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Accountancy, Economics, Business and Engineering studies. Exam Boards covered include Edexcel, AQA and OCR.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
E-mail for reviewing work/marking exam papers and tests. Skype (can include webcam) for interactive sessions.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Worried about an exam and feeling unprepared? Lacking confidence and bored? Unable to understand no matter how hard you try? I've known many students over the years with these problems. In fact, I was the same at school for a while until someone tutored me. I am friendly, supportive and patient. I can help because I understand the difficulties.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have lectured, trained and coached extensively as a Management Consultant both to Companies and individuals. In addition to extensive tutoring (10+ years), I have also worked as an A Level teacher in a secondary school and served as a School Governor assisting with curriculum delivery.
