About Alex
I recently graduated from the University of Southampton (top 20 in the UK/ top 100 Worldwide) with a high Upper Second Class mark in Physical Geography.
Since graduating I am now working at the Environment Agency and I am based in the North East Area in England, gaining insight into the measures and techniques we utilise to protect communities from fluvial (river) flooding.

I will freely admit that I am new to tutoring but I look to inspire my tutees the way my teachers and lecturers had inspired me.
Geography has always been a passion of mine, and I've always taken advantage of numerous field trips to visit the landforms I had been learning about in the classroom. I, therefore, look to use the techniques that I found particularly useful when I was at school and to combine them with insightful resources and real-world knowledge I have been exposed in my job.
I want to be able to share my knowledge and encourage those with a passion for Geography to consider taking a similar path to my own.
