About Niamh

Music has always been a part of my life. At the age of nine, I began to play the piano and have been playing ever since! I started RIAM Examinations at the age of 10 and did my senior cert in classical piano in March 2019. I majored in piano recital for my International Bachelor of Music and German in May 2021.

I started singing lessons at the age of 11 and have been doing Musical Theatre Exams with the RIAM ever since! I did my Grade 8 in Musical Theatre and Popular singing in June 2018 and received a distinction.

I was involved in my local musical society since I was a teenager, and joined the local folk group choir at the age of fifteen. During this time, the folk group was preparing for an RTÉ Mass, and I managed to get a part in it singing a solo. I was involved in the Folk Group until Janurary 2018. I then got involved with singing a two part harmony in the Cathederal, and am still doing it today. When I started at Maynooth University, I was involved in two choirs being- Maynooth Choral Society and the Altus Female Choir. Additionally, on my year abroad in Vienna, I was involved in the Advanced Voice Club at the University of Vienna, and also the Symphonic Choir at the University of Vienna. During my year abroad in Graz, I also was involved in two school bands and directing the "Music Through English Choir".

I am currently studying a Masters in Music Therapy at the University of Limerick

I teach all ages from 5-500!

Depending on the age of the student, a lesson typically lasts 60 minutes weekly.

I offer both group and individual lessons.

I have been learning the piano since the age of nine and have been teaching for more than six years.

My availability is currently Mondays to Thursdays 15.00-21.00.
