About Ali
After graduating from METU - English Language Teaching, I completed my master's degree at Kadir Has University. Currently, I continue my PhD education at Marmara University and work as a lecturer at Kadir Has University - School of Foreign Languages. In addition to my professional and academic teaching career, I have been conducting one-on-one English lessons with students of all ages and levels for nearly 8 years.

My main goal in my lessons - which I plan in accordance with the needs, interests and skills of each student - is to unveil the students' potential and strengths, to provide the support they need in the process of language learning, and to guide them to become the agent of this process through discovering their own skills. During planning these lessons, I use linguistic approaches, modern language learning methods and interactive course materials that I studied at METU and have applied in my own classrooms.
