About Alessia
I am a native French speaker. After graduating with a Baccalauréat Littéraire from France in 2019, I attended Sorbonne University in Paris for 1 year where I studied Musicology. In 2021 I moved to Montréal, QC where I completed another Bachelor's degree in Music. My time in Montréal also helped me grow as a teacher: I had the chance to work in classroom settings teaching French as a Second language to high school level students. I also worked at local music schools and academies as a private teacher. My favorite part was definitely helping my students prepare for recitals and watching them take over the stage twice a year!
I recently relocated to BC for work where I hope to stay for good!

I am a professional French, Music, and ESL teacher and tutor located in Surrey, BC. I have extensive experience working in language schools in a classroom setting, as well as providing one-on-one private tutoring lessons. I work with students of all ages, beginning from children aged 5 and up.
Specializing in exam preparation, I have achieved a 100% success rate in preparing students for the French DELF A1-B2 exams. In-person lessons are available in Surrey, New Westminster, Burnaby, and Vancouver, with additional options for online tutoring - I currently work with students from all over the country (and world!).
When working with school-aged children, I prioritize close collaboration with parents/guardians to ensure student success.
Over the years, I have developed a fun and engaging teaching style, with the hope of helping each student reach their individual language or musical goals!
