About Christina
All my life I have had a passion for languages and experiencing and learning new cultures. It is for this reason I decided to become a teacher! I absolutely love interacting with my students and it is so fulfilling to see their development.

I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher with 2 years experience of classroom teaching and approximately 30 hours of tutoring. I have taken full ownership of KS3, KS4 and KS5 classes, and I have got experience in planning and delivering energetic lessons. I received excellent feedback from the teacher training programme, coming top 10 in the country in the trainee practical assessment. I have proven I am adaptable, flexible and organised through the challenges of these years, becoming confident with the use of a range of technologies. Teaching online throughout lockdown gave me the opportunity to discover new and innovative ways of delivering online lessons. Additionally, this has presented extra responsibilities including planning curriculums, with feedback of ‘outstanding’ lessons. I tailor my lessons to the individuals needs, and deliver lessons ranging from 30 minutes - 2 hours. My previous experience as a teaching assistant has given me enhanced awareness and understanding of a range of SEN. Having worked with several students and supported them as their key worker as they thrived in their education. Additionally, I have created valuable and positive relationships and worked closely with EAL students, ensuring their smooth transition into the British school system.
