A retired mother of a doctor gives maths coaching to 5th to 9th grade students
Methodology
I am a retired Service Tax expert from Tata group of companies, mother of two kids and has taken up teaching maths a profession after retirement. I teach students from grade 5 to grade 9 with ICSE, CBSE and Maharashtra State board syllabus. I believe in making the child understand the concept and do not believe in rote learning. I make them derive the formulas on their own and do not insist on mugging up. Maths is fun and I make my students develop a passion for maths and they start loving it.
Experience
I am taking classes from last 8 years. Every year I teach around 18 - 20 students. I had students who used to hate maths when they joined my class but started loving it by the end the year. I had one student who failed in first unit test of 10th grade before joining my class but scored 75 in boards and is one of the famous TV actress now. Her brother who also used to score just passing marks scored 86 in boards (General maths).

For grade 8 & 9 the rate would be Rs. 400 per hour
