About Charlie

As a degree-level Spanish student with a strong academic background, including an A at A-Level and a 9 at GCSE, I understand what it takes to excel in these exams. My experience and qualifications ensure that I can provide the guidance and support necessary for students to reach their full potential.

I pride myself on being friendly, personable, and patient, creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes—both of which are crucial to progress. My lessons are designed not only to improve your Spanish skills but also to inspire confidence, helping you approach your studies with a positive mindset.

With my deep understanding of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum, I can provide the tools, techniques, and strategies that will give you a clear path to success. My goal is to support you every step of the way, helping you build both your language skills and your confidence.

About the lesson

I take a personalised and specific approach to Spanish tutoring, aiming to ensure each lesson is tailored to the specific needs of my students. My teaching methodology combines interactive conversation practice, grammar explanations, and cultural insights based on the time I've spent in Spain to help students improve their speaking and comprehension level and their confidence.

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length based on student preferences and specific learning goals. Lessons are dynamic and varied, designed to keep students engaged and motivated.

I have tutored several GCSE Spanish students and helped them reach predicted/achieved grades of 7-9. I also understand the demands of both A-Level (where I achieved a high grade A) and GCSE (where I achieved a grade 9) Spanish exams, and tailor my lessons accordingly to help students to succeed.

My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities, from beginners to those looking to refine their skills.Whether you're preparing for exams, need help with specific topics, or want to improve your conversational Spanish, I can help you achieve your goals. My lessons are suitable for students aged 13 to 18, though I’m happy to assist mature students who are revisiting these qualifications.
