About Muiriosa
I have worked as an arts educator for 5 years and taught over 300 students. I can help you build a strong and impressive portfolio to gain entry into college in Ireland and Internationally. I am a practising Visual Artist working in drawing, paint, printmaking, photography and sculpture. I am familiar with the steps necessary to create a body of work that is unique, helps you stand out and makes the most of your talents.

I am highly experienced as a teacher and facilitator and I hope to create warm and safe learning spaces for students to take risks, experiment and nurture their own love of art and design. When working with students I think it's important to have an informal environment that allows for a relaxed and fun approach to our work. I like to be flexible and allow my students to lead topics they would like to explore and not be afraid to ask a thousand questions and make mistakes! I think making mistakes is one of the quickest ways to learn and grow. I think its important to create a safe space for my students to be themselves. I am happy to accommodate any specific needs you have and I hope students are always happy to ask for help.
