About Violet

I have 10 years of experience teaching French and hold a Bachelor’s in French Language and a Master’s in Linguistics. My academic studies provided deep knowledge of grammar systems, phonetics, and effective teaching strategies. I have worked with students preparing for examinations, travel, academic programmes, and professional development.

I believe language instruction should be organised, patient, and supportive. I design personalised lesson plans that match each student’s level and goals. Clear explanations and constructive feedback help learners improve confidently. I focus on building independent language skills that students can use in real-world situations.

Outside teaching, I continue exploring French literature and linguistic research to improve my instructional approach. Ongoing learning helps me keep my lessons engaging and practical. About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to create a balanced development of grammar accuracy, pronunciation clarity, and conversational confidence. I begin by focusing on sound production, including vowel distinctions, nasal sounds, and correct stress placement. Clear pronunciation helps students speak confidently and understand spoken French more easily. Grammar topics such as verb conjugations, sentence formation, agreement rules, and question structures are explained in simple English for full clarity. Students practise guided exercises after each explanation to strengthen accuracy and prevent repeated mistakes.

As learners advance, vocabulary is expanded through practical topics such as travel, academic discussions, workplace communication, and cultural themes. Conversation practice is included in every session so students actively apply new knowledge. Listening exercises improve comprehension of natural speech speed and varied accents. Writing tasks focus on paragraph organisation, clarity of ideas, and grammatical precision.

Regular review sessions ensure that previously learned material remains strong and fully understood. My goal is to help students communicate comfortably and accurately in French-speaking environments. Through structured instruction and steady practice, learners develop fluency, cultural understanding, and lasting confidence in French communication.
