About Lena

My passion for violin began from admiration for orchestral music, expressive melodies, and live concert performances during my childhood. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Advanced String Pedagogy. Over the last 10 years, I have guided students through musical growth using supportive teaching and structured practice methods.

I focus on creating lessons that are adaptable for different confidence levels, musical goals, and learning styles. Some students improve through repetition and technical exercises, while others respond better to expressive interpretation and creative performance activities. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and musical understanding so students can improve steadily while building strong violin skills.

Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, exploring classical repertoire, and studying modern string arrangements. Staying active in music helps me introduce fresh and inspiring ideas into lessons. Teaching violin is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students express confidence and emotion through music.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students build strong technical foundations while developing expressive musical understanding. I teach bowing technique, posture, intonation, rhythm accuracy, vibrato, finger placement, and musical phrasing using guided exercises that make learning approachable and rewarding. Lessons focus on improving coordination, tone quality, and confidence while creating a calm and supportive learning environment.

Beginners improve through open string exercises, posture correction, and simple melodies that gradually strengthen violin fundamentals. Intermediate learners develop stronger bow consistency, rhythmic control, and finger precision through structured repertoire and technical activities. Advanced students focus on expressive interpretation, advanced techniques, and polished performance preparation with deeper artistic understanding. I also include listening exercises and ensemble practice that help students improve naturally.

Violin becomes more meaningful when students emotionally connect with music instead of focusing only on technical perfection. My lessons encourage patience, creativity, and steady growth while helping learners improve comfortably. I want students to become more expressive, relaxed, and confident while developing their own musical identity.
