About the lesson

I am creative and motivated violin teacher with 14 years of professional experience. I am able to plan my lessons carefully, making sure that I spend enough time with students, preparing them for music exams (ABRSM, RIAM, LCM ), performance or music competitions. I always strive to do the best for my students, helping them reach their potential. I believe that my empathy and positive attitude enable me to freely discuss any matter of concern with students and parents of diverse social backgrounds.

My name is Romina, I graduated in 2006 at Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. With experience working at both, primary and secondary music levels, teaching in private music school and holding private lessons, as well as activities outside of the classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer.

Deadly! Romina is a great teacher – extremely professional, patient, and with a great sense of humour! She put me at ease from the very first lesson - I started violin as a mature student, with no knowledge of music theory (I got used to play everything by ear) but a lot of bad habits (!), and she is a very encouraging and helpful teacher. The lessons are really enjoyable and easy going. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Romina. I'm looking forward to my next class!

Deadly! She listens your questions and gives adequate and coherent answers! She is patient and always trying to motivate you even if you don't really deserve it. She can adopt to your needs and be flexible in methodology in a good sense! I think she's a great tutor!
