About Sunando
I am a dedicated Mathematics educator with over 9 years of teaching experience across online and offline platforms. Over the years, I have worked closely with Grade 9 and 10 students from CBSE and ICSE backgrounds, helping them strengthen their fundamentals and improve their academic performance with clarity and confidence.
My teaching journey began with a strong interest in simplifying complex concepts. I realized early on that many students struggle in Mathematics not because they lack ability, but because they have not been guided through the right learning process. This understanding shaped my structured and student-centered approach.
I believe professionalism and consistency are essential in academic mentoring. I maintain disciplined class schedules, organized lesson planning, and regular performance tracking to ensure measurable improvement. My approach to teaching Mathematics is structured, concept-driven, and student-focused. I strongly believe that long-term improvement in Maths comes from understanding the logic behind each concept rather than memorising procedures. I ensure that every student first builds conceptual clarity before moving to application and exam-level problem solving.
Each 1:1 session follows a clear structure:
• Quick revision of previous concepts
• Introduction of new concept with logical explanation
• Guided problem-solving with increasing difficulty
• Independent practice under supervision
• Identification of weak areas and corrective strategy
Regular testing is an integral part of my teaching method. I conduct periodic assessments to track progress and adjust the pace accordingly. This helps students build accuracy, speed, and confidence — especially important for Grade 9 and 10 board preparation.
My classes are interactive and personalised. Since I work one-to-one, I adapt my explanation style based on the student’s pace, strengths, and areas that require reinforcement. I focus on reducing careless mistakes and strengthening fundamentals, which significantly improves overall performance.
