About Jazmine
I have a background as a classroom academic tutor and in applied behavior analysis. As a tutor, I worked in a classroom with 15 students who had learning disabilities (ex. ASD, ADHD, speech impairment). In that position, I was responsible for helping the students adapt to a classroom environment so I made specific lesson plans tailored to their needs and taught them separately in small groups as wells to provide them with one on one attention. I also have experience working a behavioral therapist which is a certain professional who specializes in correcting certain behaviors in those dealing with developmental disabilities, such as autism. In this role, I was responsible for assisting clients with social skills (interacting with others), academics (writing their names, letters, reading) and activities of daily living (potty training).
