Hello! I teach Saxophone/Flute/Clarinet for a reputable music store (In the Seattle WA area). 100% of my students I teach online now, from the comfort of my home studio! Welcoming students from anywhere! I now have students all over the US, Europe, Mexico, and more! It’s awesome!! Lessons are usually weekly half hour slots (I’m flexible!). I use Zoom, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger Video, Skype, and a few others. Any Apple, Google, Microsoft, or PC based phone, tablet, or desktop works great! Many of my students just use their iPhones, and I have to admit, they work pretty darn good! Online lessons are definitely altering the landscape of music lessons nowadays! Busy students can't beat the flexibility, convenience of no travel, and price!
Note; With the incredible events and challenges we are facing as a world community with regard to the coronavirus, online lessons are the new normal for sure. I am so thankful technology allows me to continue to work! Stay safe and hang in there everyone! ️

From the beginner to the seasoned working musician, I specialize in formulating lessons towards your unique goals and vision. I believe having fun and making progress on your instrument should be synonymous! I am very patient with many years of teaching experience, and always strive to maintain a loose, happy, and encouraging atmosphere during lessons. Beginners can expect a thorough understanding of the ergonomics and physical characteristics of their chosen instrument(s), along with the rudiments of reading and understanding written music! I always try to make material we work on current and fun! (Disney Tunes, Anime, Star Wars Themes etc.! Kid's love it!) I have a wealth of knowledge regarding embouchure placement, mouthpieces, reeds, alternate fingerings etc. that can greatly help beginners! Lessons are such a great way to increase confidence in the band/classroom setting and definitely help to instill a lifetime love of and passion for music! I've helped many Middle/High School musicians ascend to Jazz Band! If understanding music theory, chord symbols, soloing through changes, and how to simplify music conceptually are your goals, you came to the right place! My specialty! All ages, and musical styles are welcome!
