I follow the CELTA program which is unique in its way to engage and motivate the student using Task Base Activities (communicative approach), Contrasting approaches as well as Presentation, Practice and Production (PPP) model of teaching new language.
These methods will be complementary to a text-book, and that will depend on the level of students varying from beginners to proficiency level.
