About Lucia
My background is in medical anthropology and healthcare. I have 5 degrees including a PhDtwo masters & two bachelors degrees. I didn’t do that going straight through school. I went to college after high school, then got married & had a family then went back to school twice. I understand what it’s like to be an adult learner. Plus, before I did any of that, I taught children how to read. Having lived overseas, I’m aware of what it’s like to learn English or another language while being new to a country. I love to learn and love to teach people to learn.
