About Angela
Angela L. Glover Howell, Ph.D. teaches writing online and edits for Book Press. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. Her articles and essays have been published widely in journals and textbooks. Glover also holds a Nebraska State teaching certificate, K-6 and is certified with the National Writing Project. She is on the Artists in the Classroom teaching roster for the Nebraska Arts Council where she works with writers pre-school to assisted living across the U. S. She was selected by the Willa Cather Foundation to be their writer in residence and her children’s series, Ethan Goes to School includes Ethan Eats Hot Lunch and Ethan Goes to Recess, both nominated for the Golden Sower Award, which was released in Oct. of 2024. Currently she lives and works in Rockport, Massachusetts where she enjoys hiking, eating, and searching for the perfect French fry.
