About Adele
Ever since I was very young I would ask questions non-stop. I have been a learner from the very beginning. I really love to share what I know with others. Especially those who learning doesn't come as easily too. I try to make learning fun. I know you're probably thinking that isn't possible or i've heard that before. Truly I put my own spin on to learning. To the best of my ability I try to make as much of the curriculum I can into a game. Thats always been my favorite way of learning. I find that its the best way to keep students engaged especially if they have a competitive side like me!

My tutoring service is not quite like others you may have seen. It isn't just about the subject that they're struggling in. There is an equally important area that I make sure to foster growth in. That is social/emotional skills. I make resiliency front and center in my curriculum. Teaching them to see mistakes as opportunities for growth. I only use positive reinforcement which helps to create self-assurance and a positive learning environment. My service is also unique because I use google classroom to check in on the coursework over the week. This allows me to see how the student is doing. Meaning extra teaching opportunities outside of the tutoring session. Also I guarantee “a-ha” moments. My curriculum is not just memorization. It is about creating the foundational problem solving skills that allow them to work through anything. Including something they haven't learned yet.
