I’m a piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Sacred Music, specializing in piano and organ, and over 6 years of teaching experience. My passion lies in blending solid academic training with practical skills across genres like ragtime, stride, and early jazz piano. I love helping students discover the rich history and unique techniques behind these timeless styles. Whether you’re a school-aged learner or an adult, I tailor lessons to fit your goals and interests. We’ll explore the rhythms, syncopations, and feel that make early jazz and ragtime so special. My teaching approach is hands-on and encouraging, making challenging pieces accessible and fun. I focus on building strong technique while deepening your appreciation for historical piano music.
