About Farrah

I am a dentist and have been giving private lessons since three years in biology and Paediatrics, I have always had this passion of teaching, since it doesn’t only help others but it also engraves the knowledge in your own mind, via repetition. My teaching method is tailored to each student and I will spend a good period of time trying to test different techniques if you are unsure. I have tutored a range of people before from all ages. I have a wide variety of experiences and will make sure you feel supported and our sessions are productive.

About the lesson

I am a dentist working for both NHS and private dentistry. Teaching is a passion of mine which I first discovered during the 6 years at uni, where I was teaching students biology and Paediatrics. In order to best teach my student, I adapt my teaching style to best meet their needs and the way they want to learn. While some students learn best by going through the textbook, others learn better by being taught with illustrations. There are many different styles of teaching and my 6 years of experience in tutoring has allowed me to master these teaching styles for different students. Something a lot of students struggle with is finding enjoyment in learning the subjects they’re being taught which is why I always love adding ‘fun facts’ to my teaching. The reason I do this is because it makes the content much more interesting if they’re able to relate it to real-life scenarios and also, the example will help them memorise the content as they may remember the fun facts which will remind them of the content. If you are a newly starting of dentist here in the UK, I can help with treatment planning, talk you through the full examination process and help answer any questions that might arise throughout the application process.
