About Jaro
I am a violin tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies, where I served as Violin Section Leader. I love combining traditional violin skills with modern technology to help my students grow. I use tools like slow-down apps, digital audio workstations (DAWs), MIDI notation, and video feedback to help you analyze and refine your playing. This approach is especially useful when recording violin parts for original songs or covers. I have a strong passion for teaching genres such as Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk. Improvisation is one of my favorite skills to develop, and I create custom backing tracks to support your creative journey. My lessons focus on building both technical skill and musical expression, preparing you for any style. Whether you’re playing for fun or aiming to record professionally, I’m here to guide you. I believe learning violin should be exciting and forward-thinking. Together, we’ll explore new ways to bring your music to life. I invite you to join me in discovering the future of violin learning. My teaching approach focuses on nurturing creativity and original expression on the violin. I guide students through creative composition, arranging existing melodies, and writing their own pieces. We also explore non-traditional sounds to expand your musical palette. My methodology encourages imagination and helps you develop a unique musical voice. I’m especially skilled at supporting Adult Confidence Builders and Content Creators in finding their personal style. Together, we work on expressing your ideas clearly and confidently through the violin. Each lesson is designed to inspire and empower you to compose your own violin story. You’ll gain tools to transform your musical thoughts into beautiful sound. I believe every student has a distinct voice waiting to be heard. My role is to help you discover and shape that voice. We focus on both technique and creativity, balancing skill-building with artistic freedom. Whether you’re starting fresh or deepening your skills, I’m here to support your growth.
