About Blair
I know this comes across as worn and cliche, but I absolutely love teaching. It's unlike any other profession and provides such a wonderful sense of engagement and fulfillment that simply cannot be matched. After somewhat stumbling into my first teaching role, I have never looked back, and I continue to bring into my classes the same envigorating enthusiasm that I had on my very first day. Hopefully one day I can share this with you.
My teaching ethos is simple: students must be respected and nurtured carefully. Every learner needs to be understood in order for the teacher to know how to teach them must most effectively; this is the most basic form of respect. I understand clearly that different approaches are required for different students. Furthermore, confidence and trust are essential in any teacher-pupil relationship, without which students are unlikely to fulfill their potential. They can only develop consistently with non-judgemental support and a genuine relationship full of compassion.
I have comprehensive experience providing lessons 1 to 1, in-class, and online. Throughout this experience, I have planned lessons to an exactingly high standard and shown an ability to consistently engage, entertain, and develop learners of all ages and abilities. Students who had struggled with other teachers were often added to my classes and before long saw marked improvements across all skillsets. I know how to teach well and can happily demonstrate this to anyone with an interest in my services.

-Lessons between 40 minutes and 1 and a half hours.
- Previously taught at private institutions in Korea and Vietnam. Extensive experience planning student-focussed, engaging lessons for students between 3 and 18. I believe that it is essential for students to build confidence and focus on communication before accuracy.
- I offer lessons for any age group or ability.
- I have 130 hours of TEFL qualifications (100 hours standard qualification + 30 hours business English top-up) as well as a master's degree in International Security and Law)
