About Tasha
My name is Natasha Gulati. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, Law and Society from UC Irvine, and am currently working on my Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I found my passion for teaching throughout my time spent as a swim coach. I went on to tutor my friends and peers throughout middle school/high school. I have extensive experience as a private tutor and am comfortable in various subjects while specializing in Standardized Test Prep (ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, TOEFL, SBAC, SAT, ACT) and ESL. I also excel in teaching English, US History, World History, Essay Writing, College Application Personal Statements, Literature Analysis and Reading Comprehension.
Furthermore, I am apt in the skills required to succeed in advanced placement classes. While in high school, I completed AP English, AP Biology, AP Art History, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP US History and AP Spanish. I successfully received a score of 5 on the majority of my AP examinations.

I have experience tutoring students of all ages. In the past I have specialized in SAT/ACT, ISEE, HSPT, SSAT and PSAT (Verbal,) test prep and taught strategic techniques which resulted in significant score increases for all of my students. I have also taught other subjects including Math, Social Sciences, History, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology. Apart from that, I have also tutored English, Reading Comprehension, and Essay Writing skills. These experiences inevitably led to me assisting in the college application process and acting as a consultant for my peers. Furthermore, I am an extremely approachable individual who strives to create a comfortable learning environment for all of my students. I have no problem going the extra mile because the best reward is to see the sense of accomplishment on my students' faces once they meet their goals!
