About Jolie
I am a piano tutor with 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology, specializing in Piano History. My teaching focuses on jazz piano improvisation, comping techniques, and developing a sophisticated harmonic vocabulary. I believe in a holistic approach that combines jazz theory, ear training for complex chords, transcription, and rhythmic precision. I work with students at all levels, from early intermediate to advanced intermediate, as well as professional and expert jazz musicians. My lessons are personalized to fit your goals and skill level, helping you grow with confidence.
