About Jenn
I am a birth mom to 2 and stepmom to 1. I have been married for 9 years. I have a puppy who keeps us all on our toes. I am very active in my church and my faith plays a key role in everything I do. I love my family, camping, music, cooking, and shopping at thrift stores. I lived in Japan for almost 6 years and love traveling to new places and learning new cultures. I just want to make a difference in the lives of kids learning.

I have a great deal of patience teaching, as I have 2 young kids of my own who are learning to read and write. My typical writing plan would consist of helping my students come up with an idea and forming their story. Each lesson we would revisit the work they completed prior and adjust as needed. My typical reading plan would start by reading books for each student's comprehension level, asking questions and then giving them the opportunity to read pages, paragraphs, and chapters. I have a high school diploma, but I am homeschooling and have a lot of experience with teaching kids at church.
