About Joyce
I am a Cambridge-educated English language teacher, with a background in educational publishing and am currently an English teacher in a French primary school overseas.
I spent over six years as an editor for the biggest educational publisher in the world, before moving into vocational publishing.
I then spent a year as a communications and editorial specialist before moving into English Language Teaching full time.
I have been teaching English at primary level for the past three years in a French school and can also assist with primary-level french work, numeracy and general literacy as well as exam preparation.

I base my lessons on exploring a subject using as many senses as possible. I like to add fun twists to my lessons with extra quizzes and activities as well as games.
I always try to work in complementarity with the school teacher in order not to confuse the student and focus exercises that work towards the student's strengths.
