About Jessica
I have been editing essays for UBC students for 3 years. My students have been very successful; receiving many marks above 90 % on several occasions!
I’ve been a gymnastics coach for five years, so I feel very comfortable working with students of all ages. In terms of my academics, I am a UBC International Scholar meaning that the university holds very high academic standards for me.
I am patient, caring and love to approach learning with a very positive attitude. Learning can be made really fun, so that is my goal. Truly, anyone can be a great writer if they put their mind to it!

My teaching methods involve both visual and kinesthetic techniques to ensure that students fully understand each component of their essays. I want students to feel empowered when writing in order to be critical thinkers who can easily use these methods to be detail oriented with their writing in the future.
Every student learns differently. I will always embrace using a variety of techniques so that each individual understands the concepts in the most effective manner for their unique learning style. Let’s make learning fun!
